At present it is claimed that all electrical energy systems operate with high values of efficiency and reliability. In electric power (EPS), distribution transformers are responsible for transferring the from stations up to load centers. Consequently, mandatory design possess highest reliability possible. Considerable losses hotspots may exist in bushing region a transformer, where conductors pass through tank. Most transformer tanks made low-carbon steel, economical reasons, causing induction eddy currents regions. Using non-magnetic insert tank can reduce as consequence avoid overheating. this work, analytical formulations were developed calculate magnetic field stray bushings mounted, considering stainless steel (SSI) Previously, problem had only been tackled numerical models. Several cases analyzed different sizes. Additionally, study using two dimensional (2D) finite element (FE) axisymmetric model was carried out order validate results. The solved show great concordance between models, obtaining relative errors solutions less than percent.
